Regarding the matter of building a distillery, it still needs thorough planning. There’s definitely no time for that now, as there are more important things to do.
Liu Mengxun’s grandfather was arranged to stay in a high-end sanatorium, which was extremely luxurious, almost like a super-luxury villa. It had the best therapeutic equipment, the best nurses, and the best doctors. This sanatorium was under the hospital where Liu Mengxun’s grandfather had previously received treatment, and it was famous worldwide.
Xu Gang was still driving, with Zhang Tianyuan and Old Mr. Mou chatting in the back seat about matters related to the distillery and antiques, while Mou Ying sat in the front with Xu Gang.
The car stopped at the sanatorium’s parking lot. Xu Gang was quite envious; there were no low-end cars here. The cheapest ones were probably Mercedes-Benz or BMW, and those cars worth tens of millions were the rest, all of which were luxury cars.
"Tianyuan, we should buy a car too. I’m still driving Yingzi’s car, and I can’t keep using her car like this forever," Xu Gang said as they walked.
"Sure, we definitely need to buy a car, but we don’t have spare money right now. Don’t buy an expensive one; just get a practical one," Zhang Tianyuan nodded. Now he was worth millions, and it was unreasonable not to have a car for transportation.
"BMW or Mercedes?" Xu Gang asked.
"No, I prefer the Cadillac Escalade. It’s so grand, sturdy, and won’t be at a disadvantage even if it collides with other cars," Zhang Tianyuan said.
"That top-of-the-line one costs about 1.7 million. Not bad, I also like the car you mentioned. It has a large interior space and is convenient for storing things," Xu Gang nodded.
"Alright, let’s get two then. Three million should be manageable. Don’t get the same color, so we can tell them apart," Zhang Tianyuan thought for a moment. He and Xu Gang would likely be very busy in the future, and one car wouldn’t be enough. Two would be more appropriate.
"Two of the same? I think we should get one Escalade and another different one," Xu Gang said.
"What car do you want?"
"I heard the new Audi A9 is pretty good. It costs less than 800,000, which is cheaper than the Escalade," Xu Gang, who liked trendy cars, had been very interested in the Audi A9 for a long time. Now that it was newly released, he wanted to buy it.
"Alright, the Escalade for me, and the Audi A9 for you," Zhang Tianyuan nodded, agreeing. Xu Gang had always wanted this, and it would make him feel better to let him buy it.
Compared to money, Zhang Tianyuan clearly cared more about his friends.
"Hey, that’s great! Finally, I’ll have my own car. I won’t be called a freeloader by those jerks anymore," Xu Gang was so excited that he almost jumped.
As they passed a flower bed, Zhang Tianyuan suddenly stopped. He clearly felt a strange aura emanating from the flower bed.
His eyes fixed on a strangely shaped stone in the flower bed, and his eyes sparkled with excitement, though it was just a fleeting moment, and no one else noticed.
"That stone..." Zhang Tianyuan’s heart raced. He never thought he would find a treasure in this sanatorium.
"Xiao Zhang, what’s wrong?" Old Mr. Mou called out when he saw Zhang Tianyuan almost stepping into the flower bed.
Zhang Tianyuan regained his composure and calmed down. The stone was here and wouldn’t be lost. He should go see Liu Mengxun’s grandfather first and then figure out how to get the stone later.
They entered the back of the sanatorium. They thought it would be like a ward, but who would have thought that Liu’s grandfather’s place was almost like a villa. From the outside, it didn’t look like a ward at all. Only inside could they see some medical equipment and busy doctors and nurses.
Several bodyguards stood in front of Liu’s grandfather’s door, looking very alert.
Old Mr. Mou was also stopped when he approached.
"What, don’t you recognize me?" Old Mr. Mou was angry.
"Of course, we recognize you, but we need to ask Mr. Liu’s opinion. If he agrees, you can enter," the bodyguard was quite polite.
"Then hurry up. Everyone’s time is tight. Besides, I’m not here to ask you to do anything; I’m here to treat your grandfather. What kind of attitude is this?" Old Mr. Mou wasn’t angry at the security guard but at the Liu family.
This matter had been notified in advance, yet no one was here to welcome them, showing a lack of manners.
The bodyguard smiled awkwardly and went into the room. After a while, a woman opened the door and said to Old Mr. Mou, "Old Mr. Mou, only you and Miss Mou can enter. The others can’t."
Hearing this, Old Mr. Mou got angry and shouted, "Who do you think you are? Don’t you know why I’m here? The people I brought have their reasons. Not letting them in is what? Besides, I’ve always found you annoying. You’re young, yet you insist on marrying Old Liu. If you say you have no ulterior motives, only a fool would believe you. Get out of the way!"
He usually didn’t have such a big temper, but he really disliked this woman. She was originally just a nanny for Liu’s grandfather, but somehow they got together, and she had Liu’s grandfather wrapped around her finger. If Liu’s grandfather really died, the family property would likely be split with this woman.
The woman wanted to say something but heard a voice from inside, "All guests are welcome. Let Old Mou and the others in. Yaling, go do your work. You don’t need to take care of me here."
The voice inside had a strong Taiwanese accent but sounded quite amiable.
"Did you hear that? Move out of the way!" Old Mr. Mou said.
The woman named Yaling frowned, clearly dissatisfied, and walked away.
Old Mr. Mou then led Zhang Tianyuan and the others into the room.
"Old Mou, why are you angry with her? Do you really think I’m senile? She’s just a nanny," Liu’s grandfather said with a smile as they entered.
The room was very warm, with artificial sunlight lamps on. Anyone who entered would first feel the dryness, but even so, Liu’s grandfather was still wrapped in a blanket, looking cold.
"I just can’t stand that woman. She acts like your wife. Wasn’t it her idea to have Little Liu get married this time?"
"Never mind her. I heard from your call that there’s a master who can cure my illness?" Liu’s grandfather asked.
"That’s right, but he doesn’t have a medical license. This matter must be kept secret; don’t let it leak out, or he might get in trouble," Old Mr. Mou said.
"Is he here?" Liu’s grandfather looked at the few young people following Old Mr. Mou, feeling a bit puzzled.
Old Mr. Mou pulled Zhang Tianyuan to the bedside and said, "It’s him. Don’t rush to object. Let him take a look first. If it works, continue; if not, consider it as if we never came."
Seeing the disdain in Liu’s grandfather’s eyes, Old Mr. Mou spoke first.
"Alright, let me try this so-called master’s skills," Liu’s grandfather’s tone clearly showed disdain and disbelief. It was indeed hard to believe that a young man in his twenties could be a master.
An old man with white hair would be more believable.
Zhang Tianyuan didn’t get angry. He walked over, holding a relic in one hand and gently pinching Liu’s grandfather’s wrist with the other, then began to channel earth qi.
In an instant, everyone in the room shivered, clearly feeling a strong cold aura being forced out of Liu’s grandfather’s body.
"Such a strong yin qi! Old Mr. Mou, Gangzi, Yingzi, you’d better go out to avoid getting hurt," Zhang Tianyuan said hurriedly. He didn’t expect Liu’s grandfather’s yin qi to be so terrifying. It was impossible to clear it all at once.
Although the others didn’t know what was happening, they could clearly feel the chilling atmosphere in the room and quickly left.
"You’re indeed not simple," Liu’s grandfather said.
"Old man, don’t talk. You have too much yin qi in your body. I can’t afford to be distracted," Zhang Tianyuan reminded him.
"Alright, continue," Liu’s grandfather, who had been skeptical at first, now deeply believed, as he felt some changes in his body.
If the yin qi were compared to a block of ice, then Zhang Tianyuan’s action had melted a corner of the iceberg, causing the cold to seep out.
He had to be careful not to let the cold hurt Liu’s grandfather’s body or let the yin qi enter his own body, so he would consume a lot of earth qi.
It could be seen that the relic was gradually shrinking, some of it turning into fine powder and entering Liu’s grandfather’s body with the earth qi, driving out the yin qi.
This process lasted for over an hour before Zhang Tianyuan stopped on his own. It wasn’t over, but he felt his earth qi was running out, and he didn’t want to faint here, so he paused the treatment.
The relic was now noticeably smaller.
"Liu’s grandfather, your illness is a chronic one. It can’t be cured in one session. In my opinion, it will take at least thirty more treatments. If you’re willing, I’ll come every day until I completely remove the yin qi from your body," Zhang Tianyuan said.
Liu’s grandfather, who had been wrapped in a blanket, was now sweating. He said excitedly, "What should I call this master?"
"I’m not worthy of the title. I’m just a junior, Zhang Tianyuan."
"No, no, you deserve the title of master! I know how serious my illness is. Although you didn’t completely solve the problem this time, I feel much better. I can clearly feel the yin qi in my body has decreased and weakened," Liu’s grandfather said excitedly.
"It’s good to see results. In the future..."
"No problem, come whenever you want. I’ll tell everyone to let you through without any issues. As for the consultation fee, don’t worry. I’m not short of money."
"Let’s not talk about the consultation fee now. You should rest. I’m also quite drained today and need to rest. We’ll see each other tomorrow," Zhang Tianyuan didn’t mention that he was Liu Mengxun’s boyfriend, as he felt it would sound threatening and give a bad impression.
Anyway, the old man would find out eventually. There’s no such thing as a completely sealed wall.
