“So~? Why are you pouting~?”
Evening. At the cafe in front of the hospital, two girls were sitting facing each other, as they had ordered their food.
“Nothing. Same as always.”
The girl in a slightly bad mood was the same one Ritsu met on the roof.
“Lies~”
The girl with brownish hair replied playfully, looking into the eyes of her friend sitting across from her.
“It’s not a lie.”
“Thank you for the wait.~Your omelet rice is here~.”
The waiter brought them their food, cutting their conversation short.
“”Thank you very much.””
“Come on tell me~. Just spit it out~.”
“We’re eating. That’s gross, shut up Yuu.”
“Guha! Sayuki~, aren’t you harsher than usual~? I knew you were pouting~.”
The girl named Yuu, became even more curious at her friend’s overreaction, and prodded her further.
“You’re wrong. Poopy-Yuu, stupid-Yuu.”
Carrying a spoonful of omelet rice to her mouth, Sayuki softened her expression, and cursed at her friend even more.
“Wa~it, isn’t Sayuki gross too~?”
“So? What happened?”
Having finished their meal, the two faced each other and continued their conversation.
“It’s nothing. I only met, a person, on the roof.”
Sayuki brushed up her beautiful black hair a bit, and shifted her eyes to the side, before replying.
“Why so stiff? So what about this person on the roof.”
Yuu urged her to continue.
“Nothing, he only forced me to return his visitation card for him.”
Sayuki tried wrapping up the conversation with that, which she showed by crossing her arms.
“Forced you? Did you meet a higher up or something?”
Yuu didn’t catch on, and furrowed her eyebrows.
“Don’t know. By the time I looked at him, he was already gone.”
“That’s..I see. Sayuki’s feeling down because she didn’t sense this person escaping right in front of her.”
Having finally understood, Yuu had a faint smile plastered on her face.
“Shut up.”
“That said, I wonder who it was that even Sayuki couldn’t sense~.”
Yuu lightly arranged her hair, before peering into Sayuki’s face.
“I don’t know… But seeing him stand up, I could tell he was far stronger than me.”
Sayuki muttered bitterly.
“Fu~n. Stronger than Sayuki mean they’re really strong, no? Maybe they were a VIP?”
“Maybe, but I would’ve lost even if I tagged against him with Yuu. I couldn’t feel his presence at all. It was either perfect magic control, or extreme covert skills.”
Sayuki gazed outside from her chair, while thinking seriously.
“Now, there’s no need for you to worry, is there? We should do the best we can. Will you go to the labyrinth later?”
“It’s late now. What will Yuu do?”
“I think I’ll go now~. I have some business tomorrow so I can’t then.”
Yuu arranged the chair she was using, and said that while standing up.
“Oh yeah, tomorrow’s a holiday after all. Then let’s go for a short while.”
Saying that, Sayuki left the store after getting up and paying the bill.
