Chapter 220: - Establishment of Law Enforcement Hall

The original blood brothers, who were originally united in the same breath, had changed because of the development of the Xiao Family, Xiao Chen’s second and third uncles were already blinded by the immense power.

They might have forgotten that the reason why the Xiao family was able to be like this was entirely because of Xiao Chen, so as long as Xiao Chen was still around for a day, then there was no way that the power of the Xiao family would fall into their two hands.

A cold awning flashed in his eyes, in these years in the Middle Earth divine Realm, Xiao Chen has also really grown up from that simple teenager, experienced many things, also let Xiao Chen really mature, and now, facing the matter of the Xiao family, Xiao Chen naturally knows what to do.

“Father, you should rest for these few days, and let my child take care of the rest.” Knowing that his father could not bear to lay his hands on his own brother, Xiao Chen directly let Xiao Qing rest for two days.

Hearing Xiao Chen’s words, Xiao Qing was silent for a moment before nodding his head in response, having guessed what Xiao Chen was going to do next, but Xiao Qing did not stop, perhaps Qin Lie had been right all along, his second and third brothers were afraid that they had long been hopeless, only that he could not do anything about it.

After talking about business, Xiao Chen went to visit his mother Zhang Jingxiang with his father, and stayed with Zhang Jingxiang for more than an hour before Xiao Chen said goodbye and left.

“Summon the elder of the Xiao family to come see me immediately.” After leaving Zhang Jingxiang’s place, Xiao Chen summoned a guard and ordered.

The Xiao family had five elders other than the family head Xiao Qing, and these five elders were all old men of the Xiao family, all of them were Xiao Qing’s generation, that is, Xiao Chen’s uncles.

At this time, Xiao Chen summoned the five elders of the Xiao family, heard the words, the guard although strange in his heart but did not dare to ask more questions, after respectfully answered, is to quickly step away.

The five elders of the Xiao family arrived one after another, each with white hair, but because of the cultivation, they did not look as old as the old man, but rather, they were healthy and fit.

The five elders showed up one after another, secretly measuring the five, Xiao Chen found that the development of the Xiao family in the past few years is really good, just to say that the five elders, actually have already broken through the celestial realm, think, just a few years ago, Xiao Chen is not even a celestial realm ah, now there are actually five.

Without being arrogant, when he saw the five elders, Xiao Chen took the initiative to stand up and salute, “Grandson Xiao Chen, see the five uncles.”

“Chen, no need to be polite, we five old guys are overjoyed to learn that you are back today, we were thinking of going to look for you tomorrow, who thought that you have summoned us old guys today, haha.” Facing Xiao Chen’s salute, the five elders laughed aloud with relief.

In the Xiao Family, the status of the five elders was absolutely lofty, except that they rarely participated in the management of the Xiao Family because they were old.

When the words of the five elders fell, a gray-clothed old man at the head of the group smiled and said, “Chen, you must have asked us to come here today, but there is no harm in telling us.

The Grand Elder guessed that Xiao Chen must have something today, otherwise he would not have summoned the five people so directly, hearing the words of the Grand Elder, Xiao Chen also did not polite, greeted the five people after sitting down, straight to the point.

“Five uncles, how much do you know about the following clansmen?”

“I don’t know anything about it, I know a little bit. We also heard a little about the fight between your father and the three brothers.” Upon hearing this, the second elder replied truthfully.

Xiao Qing’s three brothers fighting for power, the five elders naturally also heard something, but they did not intervene, firstly, because they are not much interest in these matters, living to their age, family matters, unless it is a matter of life and death, or basically can no longer arouse their interest.

And secondly, also because Xiao Qing never really made up his mind to deal with his second and third brothers, so the five elders are even worse off, after all, no matter what, Xiao Qing and their three brothers, are also their five elders’ relatives, the heart of the hand is flesh, so, it is better to let them solve it themselves.

“Well, since my uncles all know it, I’ll just say it straight. I want to set up a law enforcement hall to be responsible for upholding the law of the Xiao family. For this reason, I would like to invite five uncles to preside over this law enforcement hall.” Hearing the reply from the second elder, Xiao Chen said directly.

I want to form a law enforcement hall, and the sole function of this law enforcement hall is to formulate, maintain, and enforce the laws of the Xiao family. It has absolute power to punish the Xiao family members who make mistakes.

The power of the Law Enforcement Hall can be said to be extremely large, from the first line of the clan, down to the children of the side line, even those dependent on the Xiao family’s many martial artists can have the right of execution.

And because the Hall of Law Enforcement has such great power, so Xiao Chen wanted to ask the five elders to take charge.

Because if you look at the entire Xiao family, the five elders are the most prestigious people, but also the most impartial people, able to make everyone in the Xiao family convinced.

Hearing Xiao Chen’s words, the five elders were all slightly stunned, without Xiao Chen’s detailed explanation, the five of them already knew what the Law Enforcement Hall meant once it was established, which was a great power in charge of the lives and deaths of countless Xiao family members.

After glancing at each other, the eldest elder said, “Chen, we understand what you mean, but the five of us are already in the coffin, let’s see, let your father, Xiao Qing, be the head of the Law Enforcement Hall, and the five of us, as deputy heads, will assist your father, how about that?”

Faced with Xiao Chen who gave such great power to his five without hesitation, the five elders were not stupid, they understood very well why the Xiao family rose today, so, no matter what they said, they had to let Xiao Chen’s lineage firmly grasp the great power of the Xiao family, so that Xiao Chen would have a sense of belonging to the Xiao family.

Knowing what the five people were thinking, Xiao Chen also did not refuse, this is good, at least you can let your father firmly control the whole Xiao family.

The matter was easily settled. Law Enforcement Hall was established, Xiao Qing was the hall master, while the five elders were the deputy hall master, in charge of all matters of Law Enforcement Hall.

The appointment of the head of the hall and deputy head of the hall has been decided, the next is the time to choose members, according to Xiao Chen’s concept, the law enforcement hall needs at least a hundred members.

The five elders were asked to recommend some talents that they thought would be suitable. For the members of the Law Enforcement Hall, Xiao Chen’s requirements were simple: being fair and upright was the basic, and only if this point was met would they be included in the consideration.

After three hours of discussion, in the end, Xiao Chen selected twenty people, the number is small, but it is already able to support the initial operation of the Law Enforcement Hall, as for the future and then slowly increase, this is not a big problem.

Everything is basically settled, finally, Xiao Chen looked to the five elders and said: “Five uncles, so the Law Enforcement Hall is completely established, tomorrow morning, five uncles can announce down, inform all Xiao family members of the establishment of the Law Enforcement Hall, as well as its specific powers.”
