SOE mini tactical chest rig
BEAR polyester marine uniform (including boots)
VKBO military backpack
2 bars of Aileen chocolate * 100g, 250ml of hot energy bars * 2, 4 Snickers bars * 51g, 1 bottle of 600ml purified water
1 MPL-50 old military shovel, 1 A-2607 large leather dagger, 1 Tokarev 7.62*25TT pistol (with three 8-round magazines, 40 rounds in reserve), 2 RGO-5 offensive grenades, 2 Zaiya flashbangs
1 AI-2 first aid kit, 1 pack of military bandages (2 pieces), 1 strip of Analgin painkillers (10 tablets), 1 bottle of Librium antibiotics (12 tablets), 1 box of Vaseline ointment
1 gun tactical flashlight, 1 box of safety matches, 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 Zibbo lighter, 2 silver necklaces, 1 strip of solid alcohol fuel (4 pieces)
Just for the first act, the Bloodied Wasteland, bringing these things should barely be enough to protect myself... right?
Allen looked at the neatly arranged supplies on the bed, hesitated for a moment, then sighed and silently put on each piece of equipment.
After dressing, he packed all the food, medicine, and daily necessities into the military backpack.
Although the Bloodied Wasteland is not as dangerous as those modern warfare battlefields, Diablo is ultimately a world with extraordinary powers, demons, angels, and is currently being invaded by demons. How safe could it really be?
But Allen had no choice.
There are only three worlds he can enter now. Apart from the Diablo world, the other two have modern weapons, which are far too dangerous for Allen, who only has a basic understanding of military knowledge.
Although he had been resting in the shelter for half a month, Allen could never forget the fear of being attacked by armed helicopters and semi-automatic rifles.
If it weren't for the special power in the shelter that healed his right arm, which was broken by the armed helicopter, he would now be a disabled person.
Although the injury healed, the pain and itching from the healing process did not decrease at all. For the past half month, Allen almost treated Analgin painkillers as food to barely get through.
Although the shelter is not short of food and drink, Allen cannot stay here forever. He must eventually go out to find a way out.
After more than a month in the shelter, he was already tired of this gloomy and oppressive place.
Allen casually pulled out the Tokarev pistol from the holster on his thigh, inserted the loaded magazine, pulled back the slide to chamber a round, and then pulled the slide again to check the firing status. After confirming the gun was ready, he put it back in the holster.
Everything is ready!!
With the military backpack on his back, Allen pulled aside the simple curtain made of camouflage netting and left his small room in the shelter, following the shelter corridor to the intelligence center on the other side of the tunnel.
This simple shelter is an old three-proof underground facility, converted from a Y-shaped underground tunnel. The bottom of the Y is the exit, one end of the Y is the living area, and the other end is the work area.
Over the past month, Allen had become familiar with everything in the shelter. Although there is a seemingly functional exit, the thick steel door is locked solid, with no keyhole, and cannot be opened no matter what.
Allen even suspected that the steel door might just be an outer skin model, and the entire shelter might be an independent space with no world outside it.
But no matter how Allen guessed, without specific information, all of this was just his imagination.
However, although the main door cannot be opened, this does not mean that Allen has no way to leave.
The so-called "intelligence center" is where Allen enters and exits the shelter.
The "intelligence center" is a functional area built with a simple desk and two old computers, and is the only support for Allen's survival in the shelter.
Only through the computers in the "intelligence center" can Allen obtain food, daily necessities, equipment, weapons, and other supplies. Additionally, this is the "passage" from the shelter to the outside world.
The computers are just ordinary old computers, with performance far below even half of the personal computer Allen built before he was transported. However, these two old computers have extraordinary abilities.
For example, they allow Allen to transport himself from the shelter to another "world"!
Currently, Allen can only transport to three worlds: "RUST" (Rust), "Escape from Tarkov," and Diablo II.
Before this, Allen had already made two transports. The first time, he chose the "RUST" world.
There, the sky was clear, the breeze gentle, the trees lush, and the environment fresh and natural, making it seem like heaven compared to the dark shelter. However, less than ten minutes after arriving, Allen was attacked by an armed helicopter. The 12.7mm machine gun from the helicopter hit him like a hammer, breaking his arm.
If it weren't for a nearby mine shaft that provided a hiding place for the panicked Allen, he would have been killed by the helicopter's intense fire.
Fortunately, as long as he had the thought of "leaving this world" and maintained it for ten seconds, he could return to the shelter.
Otherwise, with such a severe injury, Allen would have died in the RUST world if it weren't treated in time.
After finally healing in the shelter, Allen began his second transport, this time choosing the "Escape from Tarkov" world, with the entry point being the customs.
With the lessons from the RUST world, he was much more cautious in this unfamiliar yet familiar world.
Relying on his experience as a Tarkov gold runner, he thought he wouldn't encounter too much danger...
Just as Allen was thinking this, two SCAV scavengers gave him a profound lesson.
Although the SCAV's simple AK and shotgun were far less powerful than an armed helicopter, these two SCAV looters were not as noisy as an armed helicopter.
The two SCAV looters, hiding in a corner, did not open fire until Allen was only about twenty meters away.
The two SCAV's shooting was clearly not very accurate, and even at such close range, many bullets missed. Two bullets from the simple AK grazed Allen's left shoulder, and one hit a cargo container next to him.
However, the shotgun, with its wide area of effect, did not miss as easily. Several small steel pellets hit Allen's abdomen and calf.
This Tarkov was not the same as the game he once played. Although the "Tarkov medical miracle" still worked, being hit was not just a simple injury.
The sensation and pain from being hit were very real. Even though Allen didn't consider himself a pampered person, the intense pain from being hit disrupted his subsequent actions.
After enduring the burning pain and hiding behind a cargo container, Allen quickly fired a magazine from his Tokarev pistol at the two SCAV and immediately chose to "return to the shelter."
Allen's two transports, combined, lasted less than half an hour, but he spent over half a month healing in the shelter.
Even with the special rule in the shelter that allowed him to heal all injuries with medical supplies, including regrowing a broken arm, the pain was still very real and tested his willpower.
Of course, if he had a choice, Allen would never want to experience such pain again.
Originally, Allen was cautious about the "Diablo" world, which is a world with demons and extraordinary powers, and placed it as the last pre-selected transport world. But now, it seems that the Diablo world might be the safest.
After all, in the first act of Diablo, the Bloodied Wasteland, the most dangerous things are just some zombies, Fallen, and Hardened Rats. In the Diablo world, even ordinary civilians with just a machete can fight these low-level demonic projections and demonic creatures, which are far less dangerous than armed helicopters and SCAV looters with semi-automatic rifles and shotguns.
"It should be like that, right!?"
Sitting at the computer in the intelligence center, Allen looked at the Diablo icon on the old computer and smiled bitterly. He then took out a strip of Analgin painkillers, peeled off two tablets, and swallowed them with a sip of water.
Taking the medicine in advance was a lesson he learned from his two injuries. After all, painkillers take time to take effect, and taking them after being injured would delay the process.
As for whether taking medicine like this would have any negative effects on his body, at this point, Allen had no other choice.
"I hope it's as I imagine."
Allen pulled out the Tokarev pistol and held it in his hand, then moved the mouse and double-clicked the Diablo icon on the computer desktop.
The world darkened and then brightened, and the scene changed.
