Chapter 31: The Unavoidable Choice

Six o’clock in the evening, the road leading to the suburbs.

Wang Dachun was on his way to the factory with a cell phone in his hand.

Just now, he received a call from his workshop director, saying that he was asked to go to the outskirts factory where work was suspended, and he had something to say.

Wang Dachun was familiar with the road, he was an employee of this factory, which was previously a steel structure factory, but due to urban planning and pollution issues, it was ordered to stop work for a month.

He didn’t know what the director wanted him to do, he only heard the words, “Come to the factory, I want to talk to you,” and hung up quickly.

On the stage was a torn apart body. All four limbs of the body were chopped off, and the director…the director was using a welding gun to weld these limbs back to the body.

He knew the director was sharp and mean, but the bloody scene made Wang Dachun’s fear well up, and he vomited uncontrollably, looking at the director with eyes like he was looking at a pervert.

Wang Dachun was so frightened that he lost his mind, he took a step backwards, his eyes frightened and his mouth kept mumbling:

“The Director has killed someone…. The director has killed someone….”

The director was wearing a mask, his speech was slurred, and right now Wang Dachun couldn’t hear anything, he just wanted to escape.

Wang Dachun turned to flee the factory, but the factory’s doors had closed at some point, and he struggled to tug on the factory’s doors, but it was useless.

Along with the boss’s shout, the sound of footsteps appeared behind Wang Dachun.

It can’t be the director, can it?

Wang Dachun looked back, and the person in front of him was not the director.

It was a girl in a uniform, her face pale, no shoes on .

The female boss mechanically uttered these words, then Wang Dachun felt a pain in his right leg, then he fell to the ground, he looked back…. His right leg had been amputated, blood was gushing out from the break, and that broken leg was still maintaining the inertia to walk forward.

Fear and pain completely occupied Wang Dachun’s head. He looked at the woman as if looking at the devil.

“Last chance…. Go to work.”

Listening to the woman’s words, Wang Dachun finally reacted, if he didn’t go to work…. Would die.

He didn’t want to die.

He began to struggle, dragging one leg and climbing towards the director’s seat, well the director’s seat wasn’t far away, and with his many attempts, he finally reached the workbench.

The workbench was so short that he can reach it even if he was lying on the ground.

Now where was there any work…. The only work that could be done was what the director was doing.

Wang Dachun’s tears left uncontrolled from fear, he sobbed and picked up the welding gun and started welding on the corpse.

“Director…what’s the matter with this woman?”

Wang Dachun could see the director’s frightened face through his mask, and it was clear that he was also threatened by the woman to work.
