Ch650 - Extra- The Same Happiness

Ten thousand years later…
Twenty-three Supreme Immortal Emperors and some of the Upper Heavenly Domain’s Immortal Emperors and Immortal Kings gathered within Lightning Emperor’s Lightning Domain.
This place had once been a barren land, but three months ago, more than thirty black fountains began to appear, large and small. Demonicqiand demonic creatures erupted from these wells continuously, and many such beasts had already made their way into the Upper Heavenly Territories.
Fortunately, demonic creatures could not survive without demonicqi, so all of them clustered near these wells, remaining confined to this area.
Upon discovering these demonic fountains, the Lightning Emperor promptly summoned the other Supreme Immortal Emperors. Though they did not always get along, when it came to matters of demon invasion, the Immortal Emperors were remarkably united. Each brought their trusted generals with them to join the Lightning Emperor in slaughtering the demonic beasts encroaching on their territory.
The Immortal Emperors and demonic creatures clashed for three months, during which the Elders sustained injuries as well. Although quite a number of demonic beasts were eliminated, as long as the mouths of the wells remained unsealed, new demonic creatures would continue pouring forth, leaving the Immortal Emperors deeply vexed.
The group sat together discussing their next course of action.
Long Xingtian looked at his injury with a gloomy expression. He was the most powerful among the Immortal Emperors of the Upper Heavenly Domain and hadn’t been injured for many years; he never imagined that he would be struck by a demonic beast this time around. Even worse, the wound had been tainted with demonicqi, making it impossible to heal with immortal energy alone, which left Long Xingtian feeling quite irritated.
“These demonic beasts have proven to be very troublesome. I tried using an array seal, but it proved ineffective,” the Array Emperor sighed as he recalled.
“Indeed, my magical devices were also unable to break through their defenses.” The Artifact Emperor also felt quite disheartened.
“We’ve exhausted all methods we could think of, and none worked. These demonic beasts multiply by the day, and killing them is not sustainable. Fellow Immortal Long, what do you suggest?” The Alchemy Emperor gazed at the Dragon Emperor, pausing before continuing.
“Me? What can I possibly suggest? I’ve already killed those that made it past me, and there’s nothing more I can do about those who didn’t. I even tried sealing the well, but failed.” Long Xingtian also seemed helpless when discussing this issue.
“Fellow Immortal Long, perhaps—perhaps—we should ask Mufeng for help. What do you think?” The Sword Emperor turned toward Long Xingtian. At this rate, even the twenty-three
Supreme Immortal Emperors couldn’t hold out much longer in the face of continuous fight.
“Mufengah. I tried contacting him earlier. He should be almost here.” At this mention, Long Xingtian frowned slightly; Liu Mufeng had takenXiaoXu to search for opportunities in another parallel dimension, so he likely wouldn’t return anytime soon.
“Oh, that’s good, that’s good.” Everyone breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing that they’d already attempted contact with Liu Mufeng.
“Your Majesties, the well has erupted again and released many large black spiders.” A palace guard rushed inside frantically reporting the news
“Fucking hell, it never ends.” Long Xingtian was deeply upset by the report, but the other Immortal Emperors were equally helpless. They might have been Supreme Immortal Emperors, but their immortal energies could also run dry. After three months of continuous battle, they too felt fatigue setting in. Peak-level Supreme Immortal Emperors like Long Xingtian might still hold on, but those at the beginning stages of Supreme Immortal cultivation had long since exhausted two-thirds of their immortal energy and felt the exhaustion settling in.
“Everyone, please take some medicinal pills.” As he spoke, the Alchemy Emperor distributed medicinal pills to all present. There was no choice; to eliminate these demonic creatures as quickly as possible, he could only hand out his supplies free of charge.
After taking their medicinal pills, the twenty-three Supreme Immortal Emperors and their subordinates rushed back to the sealed mountain range.
Looking at the countless black spiders, each three meters tall, perched on the mountainside, everyone frowned deeply.
“Raawwrr…..!” Long Xingtian let out a roar, transforming into a golden dragon as he charged forth first.
“Xingtian!” Qing Chen transformed into a massive snake with a call and followed suit.
Seeing how Long Xingtian and his wife had already led their subordinates forward, the other Immortal Emperors also rushed into the swarm of spiders with their own subordinates following close behind.
The black demonic spiders moved swiftly across the mountain like mighty crabs, attacking anyone they encountered, whether it be an immortal or a demon, and devouring them whole once they killed the immortals.

“Dad!” Turning his head, Liu Xuan called out to the family member hovering beside him.
“Are you all right, Xuanxuan?” Jiang Xu looked at his Son, worry evident in his voice.
“This Child is fine, why are you alone Dad? Where is Father?” Liu Xuan felt puzzled upon noticing that his Father was not present.
“Don’t worry, your Father went to seal the black wells. He’ll be back shortly.” As Jiang Xu spoke, he swung his sword at the incoming demonic spider, sending forth a streak of starlight from the blade that decapitated yet another spider.
“Boss, you’re so amazing. Did you advance to Supreme Immortal?” As a beast companion, Pangpang had a kind of intuition and felt that his Boss must have advanced to Supreme Immortal.
Bai Hu also sensed this when looking at Jiang Xu.
“En, before, Mufeng took me to another parallel dimension where I found some good opportunities and thus advanced.” In truth, because Mufeng had already advanced to tenth level of Supreme Immortal, Jiang Xu wasn’t too concerned about whether he himself would advance or not. However, Mufeng cared greatly about it; he said that if he couldn’t advance to Supreme Immortal, his lifespan would be shorter than Mufeng, and they wouldn’t be able to stay together forever. Thus, over these past ten thousand years, Mufeng had taken him to more than a dozen parallel dimensions, allowing him to find ample resources until finally he was able to advance as well.
If not for the delay caused by this promotion, they wouldn’t have wasted time, and they wouldn’t have arrived this late.
“Boss, you’re truly incredible.”
“Congratulations,XiaoXu.” Pangpang and Bai Hu turned towards their Master to offer their congratulations upon seeing him.
“It’s nothing, just a bit of luck,” Jiang Xu waved off the compliment with a nonchalant hand gesture.
“Congratulations, Dad.” Hearing the news that his Dad had advanced, Liu Xuan was also quite pleased.
Before they could engage in small talk, another wave of demonic spiders charged forth and the group immediately sprang back into action.
On the other side, Liu Mufeng faced the well of demonic beasts erupting from the ground and struck with his palm. White characters flew out from his hand, binding the well within moments, transforming it into nothing more than air within the blink of an eye. Following this method, Liu Mufeng sealed off each well one by one until all were shut tight.
After sealing every last well, Liu Mufeng soared into the sky, white characters flying from his body to land on the demonic spiders below, rendering them weak and harmless before dissipating into dust.
The crowd rejoiced at the sight of the demonic spiders and wells disappearing one after another.
“Son!” Long Xingtian and Qing Chen flew over to Liu Mufeng’s side.
“Emperor Father, Godfather, you’re injured.” Seeing his Emperor Father and Godfather hurt, Liu Mufeng waved his hand, sending beams of white light onto their bodies. The wounds that had been unable to heal due to demonic attacks were quickly mended.
“Son, you’ve grown so much.” Long Xingtian and Qing Chen transformed back into human forms as they landed on the ground together.
“We went to another parallel dimension earlier, which is why we arrived late.” As he gazed upon his adoptive parents, Liu Mufeng felt somewhat guilty; if he had come sooner, neither of his Godfathers would have been injured.
“It’s all right, just glad you’re here now.” With a smile, Long Xingtian said nonchalantly.
“Mufeng, what were those writings you displayed just now?” Qing Chen asked with confusion, looking at his son.
“Heavenly Law, I gained enlightenment within the Heaven-Piercing Tower.”
“I see.” No wonder Mufeng could easily seal those wells—it was because of the Heavenly Laws.
“Many thanks to the Lord of the Realm for pacifying the demonic invasion.” The twenty-two Supreme Immortal Emperors and their subordinates quickly stepped forward to express their gratitude.
“There’s no need for such courtesy.” Liu Mufeng waved his sleeve, sending forth beams of white light that rapidly healed everyone’s wounds.
“Mufeng, it has been many years since we last saw you andXiaoXu. Why don’t you both return to the Dragon Palace with us?” Qing Chen smiled as he gazed upon his Son.
Liu Mufeng nodded and led the group back to the Dragon Clan.
After watching the Dragon Clan depart, the other Immortal Emperors exchanged glances.
“Indeed. As expected of a Lord of the Realm, Liu Mufeng is truly omnipotent.”
“That’s right, Liu Mufeng possesses half-step Lower God strength. His power naturally surpasses ours.”
“Heaven’s Law and Heaven’s Will are among the most profound mysteries of the universe. Who would’ve thought someone could gain enlightenment of these things?”
“Yes, our Realm Lord truly surpasses even his predecessors.”
“You’re not wrong…”
“How fortunate Long Xingtian is to have such a good Son.”
“I couldn’t agree more.”
The Phoenix Emperor frowned at the murmurs around him. In the past, he and Long Xingtian were both the mightiest Supreme Immortals of the Upper Heavenly Domain. But now, with such the Lord of the Realm as his Son, Long Xingtian has firmly suppressed him, which made the Phoenix Emperor very depressed. However, in addition to his frustration, he also has to envy the good luck of this bastard Long Xingtian.

In the modern world..
The 38 year-old Liu Mufeng was currently tending to his greenhouse. Looking at the precious and rare flowers in the room, his fingertips emitted a little green light. The light flew down from his fingertips and landed on one flower after another, causing the flowers to immediately grow taller.
After observing the flowers grow significantly taller, Liu Mufeng smiled in satisfaction. He took out a spiritual grass that he had cultivated himself and carefully infused it with spiritual energy, causing it to grow another inch or so. Compared to ordinary flora, spiritual plants grew more slowly, but that was fine; Liu Mufeng thought he could speed up its growth once a day, meaning this particular plant would be fully mature within three months.
Ten years ago, Liu Mufeng had mysteriously arrived in this strange new world. It was filled with many peculiar things: airplanes that flew through the sky, cars that sped along roads, ships that sailed on water, and abundant delicious foods. However, there were no cultivators here, nor was there much spiritual energy.
When Liu Mufeng first arrived here, he was not used to it. However, he was quite lucky. At that time, he fell into the lake and was rescued by a female classmate named Li Yangyang, who was the former classmate of Liu Mufeng and also liked him very much.
After arriving in this strange world, Liu Mufeng received the memories of the original body and gained a certain understanding of this world. However, he had no intention of pursuing higher education, nor did he want to earn a doctorate like the original owner. So, he said he had lost his memory, and during that time, Li Yangyang cared for him attentively, even taking him back home.
Later, the two became romantically involved and eventually married. Their son was now eight years old and attending elementary school. Liu Mufeng spent every day cultivating rare flowers within the greenhouse, and selling them in their flower shop, while Li Yangyang works as Department Head at a foreign company. The family of three lived a peaceful and happy life.
Liu Mufeng spent ten years cultivating himself to the seventh level of Qi Condensation. This body possessed dual spiritual roots, which was far superior to his own five spiritual roots. However, the downside was that the spiritual energy here was quite scarce, so reaching the seventh level of Qi Condensation was already the limit of his cultivation. Despite not having cultivated particularly well, Liu Mufeng’s skills in flower planting allowed him to grow many rare and expensive types of flora, earning enough money to support his wife and child in comfort and allowing them to live a prosperous life.
“Are you planting flowers again?” Li Yangyang walked into the flower room and looked at her husband who was planting flowers. She smiled and walked over to her lover’s side.
“En, I planted some spiritual plants with spiritual energy, waiting for them to mature so I can make medicinal tea for you to drink.” Liu Mufeng said with a smile as he pulled his wife close in a hug. Due to his cultivation, despite being thirty-eight years old, his appearance was still that of someone in their twenties. However, his wife’s aptitude was lacking; she couldn’t cultivate, so Liu Mufeng found some spiritual herbs for her to take, allowing her to extend her lifespan.
“You. Those things are good for you, keep them for yourself.” Li Yangyang knew her husband was a cultivator, and all these spiritual herbs were all found by her husband after a lot of effort outside. Some were seeds he personally cultivated, while others were purchased from other cultivators. Either way, every single one had been painstakingly acquired.
“I’m fine, they’re for you.” With his cultivation, living two hundred years would be no problem.
“Thank you.” Li Yangyang kissed her husband on the face, smiling gratefully.
“No need to say such things; we’re already married. You accepted me and gave me a happy home, so I feel incredibly lucky and blessed.” Li Yangyang knew he had possessed this body, but his wife never showed any distaste towards him. She even gave him a cute Son, which touched Liu Mufeng deeply.
“No, meeting you has been my good fortune.” Li Yangyang had known since early on that this man wasn’t the original Liu Mufeng, but it didn’t bother her. As long as her husband loved her with his whole heart and cherished their family, she cared not for his identity or what he’d said about body possession.
“Yangyang, I love you.” Holding his wife close, Liu Mufeng whispered gently into her ear, embarrassed, red flush staining his face.
At these words, Li Yangyang lifted her head to look at her husband, smiling sweetly and happily. “It’s been quite some time now, ten years to be exact, and this is the first time I’ve heard you say something like that.”
Liu Mufeng grew redder at his wife’s smile. “I-I’ll go pick up our Son.”
Watching her husband flee in embarrassment, Li Yangyang grabbed his hand. “Let’s go together.”
“Okay.” Nodding, the couple left the greenhouse holding hands.

Ela ~~ Two years flew past. I mean I still remember Zaki saying we are gonna take a huge novel. And then we were supposed to recruit a few more TLs but we realized we had our own rhythm and quirks, trying to get someone else subject to those would trigger our OCDs. So we hunkered down and started TLing this mammoth. There were times it was only 5 chaps each.. Then there were times we took up 25 chaps each.. we worked around our schedule trying not to take breaks. Because the more breaks we took, the longer it would take to complete… and here we are finally the END.. Time flies.
My sincere thanks to all our readers, ko-fi donators, flower givers – we read every comment and appreciate every tiny gesture that you enjoyed the novel. Your support kept us going.
Please come along with us to our next gigantic novel The Abandoned Young Master Cultivates Immortality by Yin Ya.
