Chapter 1

Over the past three years and two books, it has been quite some time since I first typed the first chapter of my debut novel, *Mad for Fishing*. Unknowingly, several years have passed. The second book, *Fishing Live Stream*, after more than 500 days of serialization, has successfully reached its conclusion.

The first book encountered many issues due to my own limitations, such as pretentious writing, awkward dialogue, an unappealing female protagonist, and even some plots that blindly pursued so-called realism, leading to many readers abandoning the story, and even leaving negative comments and criticisms in the review section.

I accept all the criticisms, after all, in commercial writing, the most important thing is to make the paying readers happy.

I gradually realized that in the face of royalties and subscriptions, the author's personal desire to express and the private content they want to include are worthless.

Summarizing the shortcomings of the first book, after a period of learning and improvement, I started the new book, *Fishing Live Stream*, which follows a system-based approach, avoiding the messy and hard-to-manage details of reality, and prioritizing the commercial goal of making money through writing.

Although this book is not particularly outstanding overall, it has勉强 reached a qualified performance with over 4,000 high subscriptions and an average of over 1,000 subscriptions.

Thanks to this book, I have earned a little money to buy meat and drink, all of which is due to the strong support of the legitimate readers! I have always been filled with gratitude.

During the two months after the completion of the book, I repeatedly reviewed what I had written before, analyzing which plots were good, which were poor, which were redundant, and which were failures. To be honest, there were still many issues, and I made various summaries.

Although the system-based approach reduced the difficulty of writing, it also reduced the depth of the content, leading to the main character often feeling "floating" and not grounded. The decline in readership in the later stages also reflected this problem.

Now, after some initial preparation, the new book has started! This time, I want to write a book that combines the strengths of the previous two books.

Similarly, it will be an urban fishing career struggle story, but this book will not give the protagonist any unrealistic advantages like the Donglong Fish Mark in *Mad for Fishing* or the system in *Fishing Live Stream*. Instead, it will use a more down-to-earth and realistic approach to arrange the plots.

The new book will consider professional knowledge dissemination to make it easier for readers who don't fish to understand, while also ensuring that avid anglers can enjoy it. The plot will be more realistic, incorporating the interesting people and events I have encountered in the fishing tackle industry over the past few years, after some artistic processing, into the new book.

I believe that people who love fishing have good luck. Both Dong and Feng had a good ending in the end.

The protagonist of the new book, Zhang Yang, will also start from nothing and embark on a new journey.

Since you've read this far, please give the new book a collection and a recommendation. The platform needs to see various data like reader retention to arrange recommendations, so I hope everyone can support it!

New book, new beginning, I bow in gratitude!!
