Chapter 1: A Great Tree

"Kasell, look at what I got... Haha, it's a 'Magic Seed'! With this, you should have no problem comprehending a few more spells!"

The young man held a seemingly unremarkable black seed in both hands and offered it to the slender figure before him with a fawning expression.

"Comprehend a few more spells? Each spell is incredibly difficult to obtain. Do you think a random seed can solve that? Beck, I know your little tricks. Stop trying to fool me, go away, I don't have time for you!"

The beautiful girl, called Kasell, sneered at Beck's offering and had no intention of accepting it.

This made Beck quite anxious. He pushed the seed forward and said hurriedly, "Kasell, I swear, I would never try to fool you. This is truly a magical 'Magic Seed'!"

"Please, if you want to get close to me, at least give me a more credible reason, okay?"

The slender girl rolled her eyes, slapped the young man's hand away, and the 'Magic Seed' fell into the grass. She coldly huffed and walked away, leaving the young man behind.

"Hey, Kasell, I, I really didn't mean to..."

Beck cared deeply for the girl. Seeing her angry, he panicked, explaining as he quickly followed her.

The girl had no intention of listening to his explanations and walked away without looking back.

However, at that moment, a strange sound caught both their attention—

Creak, creak…

The sound grew louder, making Kasell and Beck stop in their tracks. To their astonishment, a lush green sapling began to grow from where the 'Magic Seed' had fallen.

The sapling grew rapidly, reaching three meters, five meters, ten meters, one hundred meters... In a short while, they could no longer see the top of the giant tree!

"Ha, ha, ha... Kasell, I told you it was a magical 'Magic Seed'! Now do you believe me?"

Seeing the girl's astonished expression, Beck felt invigorated. "Kasell, this magical tree must have some incredible treasures. Wait here, I'll pick one for you!"

With that, Beck approached the towering tree and began to climb, his heart racing with excitement. As he climbed, he thought, "While picking a treasure for Kasell, I should also find something to make me stronger, or I'll continue to be ignored by Kasell and mocked by the other guys in the tribe!"

To Beck's surprise, he climbed over a hundred meters but still couldn't see the top of the tree!

One hundred meters, two hundred meters, five hundred meters, one thousand meters…

As he climbed, Beck saw clouds and stars—things he had only heard about in the old chief's stories but had never seen before!

He felt lost and uncertain, wanting to give up and return…

However, his desire to impress the girl and his innate curiosity ultimately overcame his fear, and he continued to climb.

After climbing for an indeterminate amount of time and reaching an unknown height, a blinding golden light enveloped Beck. Then, a vague figure appeared before him. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't make out what the figure looked like.

At that moment, a rumbling voice echoed in Beck's ears, "Young one, you are very fortunate to have your soul reach here. Since you are here, I will grant you a blessing…"

What! Soul?

The voice resonated in Beck's mind, and memories began to surface…

That's right, wasn't I defending the tribe against the 'Beast Tide'? How did I end up here? And didn't the 'Wolf Demon's' claws pierce my vital spot? Did I, not die?

"Ha ha… Young one, don't worry. Since you are here, you won't die! As a welcome gift, I will give you this 'Super Magic Farm System.' I hope it will help you achieve something, and one day we can meet again."

The voice paused, then chuckled, "I shouldn't be so demanding of you. Let it be. Here, take this 'Super Magic Farm System'…"

As the rumbling voice spoke, Beck saw a flash of golden light. In a daze, he saw a 'dark land' with various strange plants growing on it, floating toward him.

The next moment, Beck felt a dizzying sensation and fell from the giant tree!

He screamed in terror as he plummeted at an unimaginable speed…

When his senses returned, Beck felt excruciating pain all over his body, as if he had been torn apart. A strong smell of blood filled his nostrils.

Such a familiar smell, could it be that I'm back? The Copenhagen tribe, the Beast Tide, defending the tribe, my weak strength, not comprehending a single spell by the age of twenty, being mocked, pursuing Kasell and being ignored, feeling unworthy of the old chief's upbringing… I, didn't die? Still living in this frustrating world?

Kasell—Copenhagen tribe's gem—looked at the young man lying in a pool of blood, her beautiful face tinged with sadness. "Beck, although you can be a bit unreliable, you did your best during the Beast Tide. You made it through those tough days, but now…"

"Ah… I hope you can live well in another world, find someone you like, and who likes you back. Don't be like you were with me, when it was clear we had no future together, yet you still clung to me…

The girl scolded, but her amber eyes were misty, clearly saddened by Beck's death.

"Kasell, how is Beck? He didn't die, did he?" Just as the girl was grieving, an elderly voice came from nearby. It was the tribe's old chief, Yuri, checking on the tribe members after the battle.

Hearing the question, the girl turned and said sadly, "Father, Beck is already…"

However, before she could finish, the old chief's excited voice interrupted her, "Hey! Beck, good job! You survived this wave of beast attacks, even better than the big guy, Cross! Kasell, quickly give him some medicine to help him recover."

"Hey, you guys, stop pretending to be dead. If you can move, get up. These damn beasts will probably give up after a few more attacks. Get your spirits up!"

Kasell didn't hear the old chief's words, as her bright eyes were fixed on the young man who was shakily standing up, her eyes filled with disbelief!

In her mind, Beck, who had been pierced in the heart by a wolf demon's claws, should have been dead. How could he stand up now?

"Beck, you, weren't you dead just now? How are you…"

Seeing the tribe's gem, Kasell, looking at him with such concern, Beck was overjoyed. Ignoring the intense pain, he wanted to tell her about his recent 'dream.' However, just then, a clear voice echoed in his mind, making him freeze—

"Ding, congratulations on successfully binding the 'Super Magic Farm System'! Welcome to the path of the strong! As a young man aspiring to be strong, how can you not release a spell? The system gifts you a 'Blood Blade Magic Seed' to help you complete your first… magic experience!"
