"Whoa!" As the black cloth covering the iron cage fell off, everyone almost gasped simultaneously when they saw what was inside the cage. Wang Xuewu and He Xi’s faces turned deathly pale.

"Wow! This is the Ghost-faced Mastiff? It's really ugly, no, it's truly terrifying!" The onlookers, suppressing their shock, said with trembling voices.

He Dong had not expected the other party to actually obtain a rare Ghost-faced Mastiff. This Ghost-faced Mastiff was about 1.2 meters tall and over 1.5 meters long. At first glance, it looked like a small calf, and with its long black fur, it was nearly twice the size of an ordinary Tibetan Mastiff.

Most importantly, its face was mostly white, resembling a ghostly face, and combined with its blood-red mouth and chilling fangs, it made everyone who saw it tremble with fear.

Since the Ghost-faced Mastiff was revealed, Zhou Fuan’s smug expression had not faded, and Cheng Tianlei began to boast about the Ghost-faced Mastiff’s glorious achievements.

"This Ghost-faced Mastiff is the offspring of a purebred Tibetan Mastiff and a Siberian mutant wolf king. It only recognizes the person who first feeds it as its master. Due to the geographical environment, it is extremely ferocious. It is said that it once wiped out a small wolf pack on its own! It has even killed three people..."

"Brother Dong! I didn’t expect them to actually get a Ghost-faced Mastiff!" Looking at the terrifying Ghost-faced Mastiff, Wang Xuewu’s face showed a bitter smile.

"Bad, bad, Blackie will be bitten to death!" He Xi also became worried.

Although they had previously tested Blackie’s abilities with a Tibetan Mastiff, a Tibetan Mastiff and a Ghost-faced Mastiff were not in the same league, so their concerns were understandable.

"Don’t worry, Blackie isn’t afraid of it!" He Dong, who knew Blackie best, was not at all worried.

After the Ghost-faced Mastiff was revealed, although Zhou Fuan had a bit of an embarrassing moment, he was more eager to see He Dong, Wang Xuewu, and the others lose their composure. However, to his disappointment, Wang Xuewu looked somewhat surprised, but He Dong remained unusually calm.

"Pretending! Pretending! I’ll see how long you can keep it up!" Zhou Fuan thought He Dong was just putting on a show, so he muttered disdainfully.

The preparations for the dog fight were quite complicated, including washing and disinfecting the dogs. By the time everything was ready, He Dong and the others had been waiting for a long time.

This military enthusiast club, being a high-end club, had all the necessary entertainment facilities. Even though it didn’t have a dog-fighting arena before, it quickly set up a standard one.

When the Ghost-faced Mastiff and Blackie were brought to the dog-fighting arena, He Dong suddenly noticed that the person leading the Ghost-faced Mastiff had been standing behind the young man from the Hua family. It was clear that he was a lackey of the Hua family.

"This Ghost-faced Mastiff only recognizes one master in its lifetime, and no one else can get close to it. So, the person leading it must be its master. This Ghost-faced Mastiff must have been provided by the Hua family!" As the Hua family’s involvement deepened, He Dong’s sense of crisis grew stronger.

The Ghost-faced Mastiff, though said to be led, was actually dragging its owner. Especially after entering the dog-fighting arena, upon seeing Blackie, if not for four people holding the long iron chain, the Ghost-faced Mastiff would have already pounced on the relaxed Blackie, who was squatting alone on the opposite side.

One was full of uncontrollable wildness and ferocity, while the other was as obedient as a pet dog. Even before the fight began, it had already captured everyone’s attention.

Although some of the second-generation members were somewhat brainless, they weren’t fools. At first, everyone was mocking Wang Xuewu for bringing a beautiful Doberman to a dog fight, thinking he was courting death. But when faced with the Ghost-faced Mastiff, even they felt fear, while the Doberman in front of them seemed completely unconcerned, which made people think deeply.

Hua Yaxiang also couldn’t help but look at the fearless Doberman a few more times, but he was even more confident in the Ghost-faced Mastiff he had brought.

Since this was a fight to the death, there was no need for a referee. The two dogs would be locked in a large cage and fight until one of them was dead.

"Growl!" As soon as the Ghost-faced Mastiff was released, it immediately pounced on Blackie.

"Wow! No wonder it’s a Ghost-faced Mastiff, its ferocity is overwhelming!" The Ghost-faced Mastiff’s aggressive attack immediately caused many people to exclaim in surprise.

Zhou Fuan, being more arrogant, made a throat-slitting gesture at He Dong and the others, while Cheng Tianlei first gave a thumbs up and then suddenly pointed downward.

Many others on Zhou Fuan’s side also taunted He Dong and the others, even the cross-dresser made a disgusting gesture and rolled his eyes at them.

In contrast to Zhou Fuan’s arrogance, Wang Xuewu and He Xi were somewhat nervous, not even paying attention to the provocations, and stared intently at the arena. As for He Dong, he remained calm and relaxed, even more so than the onlookers.

And in this atmosphere, something shocking happened. As the Ghost-faced Mastiff pounced on Blackie like a tiger descending from the mountain, just as its terrifying mouth full of fangs was about to bite Blackie, the previously motionless Blackie suddenly raised its front paw and slapped the Ghost-faced Mastiff’s face.

Blackie, which looked to weigh only about 70 to 80 pounds, was facing a Ghost-faced Mastiff that weighed at least 300 pounds. No one took Blackie’s paw strike seriously, but when it hit the Ghost-faced Mastiff’s face, the Ghost-faced Mastiff was flung away like a fly.

When the Ghost-faced Mastiff stood up again, its previous ferocity was gone. It even whimpered softly, then tightly tucked its tail and lowered its head, running to the farthest corner of the arena, trembling and cowering, no longer daring to attack.

Seeing this, anyone who understood dogs knew that the Ghost-faced Mastiff was finished. It had developed a fear of Blackie, and this would be its nightmare from now on. The outcome of the fight was clear.

"Ah!" This result left everyone speechless, and over 90% of the people were so surprised that their jaws dropped to the ground.

"Impossible! Impossible! How could the Ghost-faced Mastiff lose?" Zhou Fuan muttered in disbelief, while Cheng Tianlei was completely stunned.

"Yay, we won!" In contrast to Zhou Fuan’s group’s stunned silence, Wang Xuewu and He Xi jumped up in excitement.

"Is... is this a spirit dog?" While everyone was shocked, Hua Yaxiang’s eyes widened, and his expression rapidly changed, showing shock, joy, and greed in quick succession.

At the same time, Chu Qian, who had also been watching, was equally surprised, and her gaze toward He Dong became even more intense.
