Viela had previously obtained a list of things that make men happy from Drescher, the head of the department.

However, this was due to Albertina's power, not Lukas's. He wanted to make his fiancée happy with his own hands.

Albertina offered advice to encourage the dejected Lukas.

"Kyu!"

"You're right. There's no point in brooding, so I'll give it a try."

With that decided, it was time to act. Lukas immediately invited Viela for a walk in the sky on their next day off.

"Wow! I didn't know there was such a beautiful flower field near the capital!"

Deep in the forest at the border between the capital and the neighboring territory, a natural flower field spread out. It was a place only Divine Beast Knights and their mounts could reach, and today, they had it all to themselves.

As soon as they landed, Viela exclaimed in innocent delight.

But Lukas wasn't the type to be satisfied with just this.

"Viela, you must be tired from flying without a break. Let's rest a bit, shall we?"

Saying this, Lukas sat down in the flower field and patted his knee.

Viela was visibly flustered.

"Um... you want me to... sit on it?"

"It's fine if you do, but I thought I'd give you a head massage today. After all, you always do it for me. What do you think?"

"Alright, then."

Despite her awkward expression, Viela gently lay down and rested her head on Lukas's thighs. Her soft, yellow-blonde hair flowed, and her usually hidden nape was exposed.

Lukas's gaze was involuntarily drawn to it, but he saw that her face was flushed with tension.

"Are you nervous?"

"Y-Yes. With all the information about Lord Lukas's head massage, I can't calm down!"

The sensations and warmth of his thighs, which were soothing for him, seemed to be stimulating for Viela.

While it was flattering to be noticed as a man, it wasn't achieving his original goal.

Viela then sat up and patted her own knee, suggesting a role reversal.

"I find it more enjoyable to give a head massage. This way is fine, isn't it?"

"Is that so?"

Lukas had somewhat assumed that Viela was just humoring him.

"Because, it makes me happy to think that only I can see Lord Lukas being so affectionate. Seeing your relaxed expression makes me relax too. It's a win-win situation."

Viela smiled bashfully. It was clear that she wasn't lying to spare his feelings, and her genuine smile was endearing.

Lukas's heart was quickly captured.

He had intended to make her happy, but in the end, he had only increased his own happiness.

(Viela, you always get the better of me. If you say things like that, I just want to be more affectionate.)

While he wanted to maintain a cool demeanor, knowing that even his softer side was accepted made it impossible to resist.

In the middle of the flower field, Lukas rested his head on Viela's lap for a while.
