Summer's perceptiveness was several times better than before. He could see the disdain and mockery in the eyes of the people present, and he understood what they meant.

The clothes he was wearing were cheap, and in their eyes, he couldn't afford the phones here.

"I want to buy a phone with more features." Summer was about to graduate, and having a phone with more features would be very useful.

"There are many phones with full features. I wonder what price range you're looking for? I can recommend one to you." The female saleswoman was very friendly, and she maintained a sweet smile on her face.

The female saleswoman was an intern, still wearing a name tag. Since she started working here, she hadn't made any sales because anyone who came to buy a phone was always taken by others.

"I'll buy a phone for around 5,800 yuan." Summer had just won 5,800 yuan and didn't plan to keep it, so he decided to buy a good phone.

"5,800 yuan?" The female saleswoman was slightly taken aback. At first, she didn't think Summer would really buy a phone. She just wanted to practice her sales skills, but she didn't expect Summer to say he wanted a 5,800 yuan phone.

The other salespeople also heard the amount Summer mentioned and were stunned. Then, an older female saleswoman, who seemed to change her expression instantly, smiled broadly, but the thick layer of makeup and deep wrinkles betrayed her age.

"Student, let me introduce you to a phone. I guarantee you'll be satisfied." The older female saleswoman had a fawning smile. When she approached Summer, he could see the freckles on her face.

"Can you please stand a bit further away? Your face is like Mount Everest, it scares me." Summer hated people like her. They looked down on him because of his cheap clothes, but now that he said he wanted to buy an expensive phone, they came forward.

"You, you dare to talk to me like that? Do you know who I am?" The old woman's temper flared. When had she ever been treated this way, especially being called Mount Everest?

The people around them looked at Summer with pity. This woman was a local bully, not because she was powerful, but because of her partner, who was a well-known figure in the neighborhood, nicknamed "Biao Ge." It was said that he had killed someone and served ten years in prison, only recently being released.

The old woman was almost fifty but dressed like she was thirty, with a thick layer of makeup. No one dared to offend her. Whenever someone came to buy a phone, she would always interfere to make a profit, and everyone just endured it.

But today, this high school student dared to speak to her like that.

"Brat, you wait. I'll skin you alive." The old woman took out her phone and dialed a number.

"Master, 5,800 yuan is enough to buy an iPhone 5. You might as well buy one." Fire Pepper didn't even look at the old woman, thinking she wasn't worth her attention.

"iPhone 5?" Summer had heard of this phone. It was said that someone sold their kidney to buy it, hence the nickname "iPhone 5." "Alright, I'll take it. Miss, can you help me set it up? Here's the money. I'll go get a SIM card."

The intern saleswoman finally reacted and quickly took the money to set up the phone for Summer.

"Master, if you want a good phone, I can buy one for you. Just say the word, and I'll buy any phone you want as a token of respect." Fire Pepper followed Summer.

"I don't want anyone else's money." Summer glanced at Fire Pepper. "And I haven't decided to take you as a disciple yet."

"Master, what will it take for you to accept me as a disciple?" Fire Pepper bounced around Summer.

"I'll teach you a couple of moves. When you learn them, we'll see. And I need to observe you." Summer had finished getting his SIM card, which was simple. He just needed to show his ID. The intern saleswoman had also brought the iPhone 5, and Summer put the SIM card in and tested it, finding it quite handy.

The iPhone 5 was much better in appearance and functionality compared to his old Nokia, which was mainly used for making calls, sending messages, and as a blunt object.

After buying the phone, Summer was about to leave when two people appeared at the door. One of them was shirtless, with a dragon tattoo across his shoulders, a shaved head, small eyes, and a big belly like a Buddha.

"Biao Ge, you finally came. If you hadn't come, this little brat would have killed me." The old woman clung to Biao Ge's arm, her chest rubbing against his arm.

"Damn, you dare to play with my woman? You're asking for it." Biao Ge's voice was loud, and everyone around him looked at him.

Summer stopped and looked at the old woman.

"Who are you calling a little brat?" Summer hated when people insulted his parents, even though he had never met his mother, he knew she had a reason for leaving.

"The little brat is calling you." The old woman realized what she said: "Biao Ge, look, this little beast is bullying me."

"Who are you calling a little beast?" Summer asked again.

"The little beast is calling you." The old woman stomped her feet: "Oh, Biao Ge, you have to stand up for me."

Biao Ge's face was cold, and his strong body moved towards Summer: "You dare to bully my woman? You're asking for it."

"Fire Pepper, I'll only do this once. Watch carefully, and then go back and practice." Summer's build was much smaller than Biao Ge's, but he didn't back down and took a step forward.

At that moment, Biao Ge kicked at Summer. His strategy was to intimidate with his appearance, then use his voice to scare, and finally kick suddenly.

This strategy had never failed him.

When Biao Ge's kick reached Summer, some people couldn't bear to watch and looked away. But Summer moved, supporting himself with his right hand and instantly kicking Biao Ge's left leg with his right foot.

Biao Ge's massive body was thrown behind, crashing into the door of the store.

"Master, that was amazing." Fire Pepper was excited.

"Biao Ge!!" The old woman rushed to Biao Ge.

"Damn, you dare to fight back." Biao Ge struggled to stand up. The impact had left several bruises, but they weren't serious. Biao Ge knew he couldn't back down. He had no job and relied on the old woman for money. If he backed down, who would give him money?

Summer's phone rang. The ringtone was one the intern saleswoman had downloaded for him.

"Hello, Cousin."

"I lost my phone recently. This is a new one, and I just got a new SIM card."

"Tonight? Do I have to go?"

"Alright, send me the address."

While Summer was on the phone, Biao Ge saw his chance and kicked at Summer again. Summer moved forward, using his shoulders to collide with Biao Ge's left shoulder and kicked his left leg again, causing Biao Ge to lose balance and fly out, landing two meters away.

"Master, you're so cool." Fire Pepper was extremely excited.

"Oh, nothing much. See you tonight." Summer hung up and glanced at Biao Ge on the ground before leaving.

"Master, wait for me, wait for me." Fire Pepper followed him.

"Don't follow me. I already showed you those moves. Go back and practice. If you keep following me, I'll never take you as a disciple." Summer warned. He himself didn't know much about martial arts; those moves were something he had learned from Mr. Fan in the morning.

Fire Pepper had no choice but to leave.

Summer took a taxi to the most famous antique street in Jianghai City. It was one of the most well-known places in the city, filled with antiques and unique items. It was also a place where people could find treasures. It was said that someone once bought an antique for less than 100 yuan and sold it for over a million.

Such stories often happened, giving the place a mysterious aura and attracting many people hoping to make a fortune.

Summer knew that most of the lucky stories were fabricated by the shop owners to attract more customers, but he still wanted to go there. With his new ability to see through things, he wanted to see if he could find any real treasures.

Because of the people who hoped to get lucky, the street was always crowded. There were always people who dreamed of getting rich without working.

Summer came here because it was his cousin's birthday party tonight. He had forgotten about it until his cousin called and scolded him. He decided to buy something nice as a birthday gift.

The main reason was that his cousin wanted him to pretend to be her boyfriend, which made him even more hesitant.
