Chapter 569: Xu ancestor!

Xiling County, located in the southwest of Datang Capital, is one of the six

counties under the jurisdiction of the Capital.

Because it is close to the capital, at least 60% of the fields in Xiling

County are controlled by the nobles and officials of the capital. The people

of Xiling County either become professional tenant farmers, or they can only

escape from Xiling and hide their names in remote places far away from the

capital.

South Street is the most prosperous street in Xiling County.

Songji Restaurant, located on South Street in Xiling County, is an old and

famous restaurant that has been passed down for generations.

It is said that the plaque of the Songji Shilou was inscribed by the Emperor

Taizu, the founder of the Tang Dynasty. It is also because of this honor that

although Songji Shilou does not have a big backing, it can always stand on the

South Street in Xiling County.

However, Cheng Ye plaque, defeat Ye plaque.

Song Ji Shilou, a plaque inscribed by the Emperor Taizu, the founding emperor

of the Tang Dynasty, is now missing.

Losing such a treasure, the Song family panicked completely.

Once the news is learned by the court, and a disrespectful charge is deducted,

their family will have to finish playing.

Song Defu is now the head of Songji Restaurant.

After learning that the plaque was stolen, he immediately blocked the news and

put the guards who guarded the plaque and the Song family under custody.

"Father, there is no fire in paper!"

Song Yuan is Song Defu's jewel in the palm and his only heir.

Originally, Song Defu was going to recruit her daughters.

But now, Song Defu just wants to marry her daughter out quickly.

The married daughter throws water out of the house.

In this way, even if Song Ji’s restaurant lost the Taizu plaque and broke out,

it will not affect his precious daughter.

"This kind of thing, the more you hide it, the more difficult it will be in

the future."

"From the point of view of a daughter, it is better to report to the

official!"

"Girl, you can't report to an official!"

Song Defu's face was plain, "If that plaque is lost, even if it is stolen and

a charge of poor storage is deducted, our house will be destroyed."

"If someone is accused of other crimes, we, the big family, will have no way

to survive!"

Song Defu looked at her daughter bitterly, "Father doesn't matter, but

daughter, Dad promised your mother that he will take good care of you."

"father!"

Song Yuan couldn't help crying when Song Defu said so.

"Daughter, now, Dad can only find you a husband's family. As long as you get

married, then even if our family is in serious trouble, it will not affect

you!"

"It's just that there is no natal family to rely on. You will have to swallow

your anger in the future when you live with your in-laws!"

"Father, I won't marry, I will stay with you, and if there is any disaster or

sin, my daughter will stay with you!"

"Silly girl, you are poking your father's heart with a knife!"

Song Defu took a deep breath, "Listen to Dad, you go to marry!"

"The sin of losing the plaque bestowed by Taizu's imperial ancestors, father

alone can carry it!"

Song Defu has already made up his mind, and this matter will be handled by

himself. Whether it was exile or decapitation, he recognized it. Their Song

family, relying on this plaque, generations of people have lived in peace and

stability, and they have also made money.

"The shopkeeper, the shopkeeper, someone is looking for you!"

Just when Song Defu and his daughter were sad and sad, the concierge ran over.

"who?"

Song Defu quickly cleaned up his face, restored his usual appearance, opened

the door and walked outside.

"The little one didn't know him, he didn't say, just let the little one bring

this to you!"

The porter quickly handed the envelope in his hand to Song Defu's hand.

"You invite people to the waiting room first, and I'll go over immediately!"

Song Defu received the envelope and sent the concierge first, then opened the

envelope and took out the letter paper inside.

The letter paper is very thin and soft, with a rubbing line of text on it.

The text was scribbled and difficult to distinguish, but Song Defu's

expression changed in an instant, because this rubbing was exactly the Taizu

inscription on the Taizu plaque that his family had lost.

Suddenly, Song Defu's body shook.

At this moment, he didn't know whether it was excitement or fear.

"Girl, girl!"

Suddenly there was news of the stolen plaque, Song Defu's head was a little

shaken, and he felt that he could no longer think.

"Father, what happened?"

Song Yuan hurriedly came out of the house and was shocked when he saw Song

Defu's excitement and trembling.

"Look, look!"

Song Defu stuffed the paper into the girl's hand.

Song Yuan quickly opened this thin piece of paper and saw the rubbing on it

clearly, and he was also very excited.

"Father, we are saved, we are saved!"

Since someone sent a rubbing of the plaque, it means that the other party will

soon make a condition.

"Father, I'll be with you!"

"Good, good!"

Song Defu's spirit was very confused at the moment, and he was worried that he

would be fooled by the other party later, thinking that the girl could follow

along and be a caregiver, so he did not refuse Song Yuan's request.

Soon, the father and daughter went to the waiting room of the Song family

mansion and saw the person who sent the letter.

The visitor looked that he was not very old, at most twenty outcropping, he

looked like a talent, dressed in a robe that scholars and talents would wear,

and was sitting calmly on a chair.

Seeing the arrival of Song Defu and Song Yuan and his daughter, this person

immediately stood up and saluted Song Defu very politely.

Song Defu and Song Yuan's father and daughter returned the gifts one after

another, and then the host and guest took their seats.

"what do you want?"

Song Defu simply looked at each other directly, straight to the point, and

straight into the subject.

"Father-in-law is here, and my son-in-law recommended himself, willing to be

my son-in-law!"

Hearing Song Defu's question, this person actually stood up and saluted Song

Defu again.

And hearing this person's words, whether it was Song Defu or Song Yuan, they

were all dumbfounded.

It is no secret that Song De deliberately recruited extravagance. After all,

he doesn't have a son. There must be a talent for successor to this huge

family property.

"Who are you? What do you want to do?"

Although Song Defu wanted to recruit, but he hadn't done anything yet, this

man came to the door by himself and stole the heirloom of their Song family.

Such behavior, such a person, being his son-in-law of Song Defu, he is really

a little scared.

"Father-in-law must not be excited. My son-in-law only fell in love with Miss

Yuan'er at first sight, so he had to make this tactic."

"Don't hide from his father-in-law, my son-in-law is surnamed Xu, named

Yuanzu, and his ancestral home is Xujiazhuang on the Weihe River. He also has

some relatives with Xu's Mansion, a three-man family in the capital."

Xu Yuanzu looked at Song Defu sincerely and reported to his family.

After hearing Xu Yuanzu's self-introduction, Song Defu was really taken aback

for a while.

Xiling County is a place under the jurisdiction of the Capital Mansion.

Although it is a little far away from the capital, things in the capital are

not a secret to the Song family, who has been operating in Xiling County for

several generations.

Taiping King Xu Zhengqi came from Xujiazhuang on the Weihe River, and Song

Defu naturally knew it.
