"Everyone, it's been a while. How was your holiday? There are also some new students. I am your homeroom teacher and Potions advisor, Mina Stia. You can call me Teacher Stia. The new semester has started, and you are now in third year. Let's continue to work hard!"

"Teacher!"

"What is it, Rachel?" Hearing it was Rachel, the one who had won a full scholarship for three consecutive years, Stia braced herself and looked at the girl sitting by the window. The girl had short, black hair that reached her ears, and her unusually pale face made her look particularly charming. Her eyes, which seemed to hold a unique meaning, were even more captivating.

"Can I change my seat? The sun is too intense here!" Rachel half-lay on the desk, a large book covering her head to block the sunlight coming in from outside.

"Oh! But sunlight is good for your health, and Rachel, your skin seems to lack sunlight!"

"Please, I used to like the sun, but I can't anymore!" Rachel said, looking as if she was about to faint.

"What do you mean?" Stia smiled bitterly. To her, Rachel was just being unreasonable, but the girl had the capital to do so. After all, she was a genius. Although her background wasn't good, Rachel's talent and future could more than make up for it. After a moment's thought, Stia agreed to change Rachel's seat, moving her from the window to the farthest corner near the wall, where the sunlight couldn't reach.

"Alright, let's start the first class of the new semester: The Versatility of Magic!"

Rachel didn't pay attention to what Stia was saying. This didn't mean she was a bad student or that she was self-taught; she had more important things to deal with.

"Really? It's been more than four years since I crossed over, and this just suddenly happened!" Rachel was speechless. She felt like she was in a dream. Originally, as a half-otaku, she would come home from work, catch up on her favorite anime, and browse for good novels to read, often staying up until eleven at night. Considering she had to work the next day, she would go to sleep. But when she woke up, everything had changed.

The world had changed, a world with magic, dragons, and monsters. Although it was hard to accept, she could barely manage to cope. But even her gender had changed!

After a long four years, she had experienced more than she had in her previous life as a man. Every day, she not only studied but also worked to the point of madness. She had gradually gotten used to it, but now, something unexpected had happened.

A vampire, and not just any vampire, but a True Ancestor, the pinnacle of vampires. The vast amount of magic power almost overflowing within her told her this was real.

She had originally been a technical mage. She couldn't help it; she wanted to be a mindless bombarder like Queen Yuyuko, the mistress of flowers, but her innate magic power was too low. She couldn't cast spells carelessly and had to develop a meticulous technical style, using every bit of magic power efficiently. Thanks to this, Rachel's control was very high. When casting the same spell, she consumed one-third less magic and mental energy than her peers.

She had prepared to continue developing her technical style, pushing the conservation of magic to its limits. But now, with the sudden awakening of the True Ancestor's power, her magic power was endless. Rachel felt a sense of dizziness. As a True Ancestor, she was immortal, meaning her appearance was fixed at this stage, and she couldn't be killed, even if she were cut into pieces.

"If I had awakened a few years earlier, this wouldn't have grown so much, right?" She looked down at her full, rounded chest under the desk, her lips twitching. She remained in a daze until the class ended and someone tapped her shoulder.

"Teacher?" She looked up to see Teacher Stia.

"Rachel, are you feeling unwell? You seem a bit distracted!" Stia leaned down, her concern evident. Rachel averted her gaze, a privilege men couldn't experience. Stia's lack of guard in exposing her private parts was because Rachel was now a girl.

"It's nothing, just a bit tired!"

"Tired? Of course! How many jobs do you work in a day? You're also the student council president. You should take it easy. Last month, you fainted three times from overwork. If you keep this up, you'll—!" Stia couldn't believe what a fifteen-year-old girl was doing. She had also grown up in a poor family, working part-time while studying, but even with two jobs, she had struggled to maintain a regular schedule. Compared to Rachel, who worked at least six jobs a day, it was a world of difference.

"I know my limits, Teacher!" Rachel knew she had pushed herself too far, but she had no choice. Her family needed money, and she had debts, a mortgaged house, and the funds needed to cure her sister. She was almost at her breaking point, but now she wasn't afraid. Or rather, she couldn't die even if she wanted to.

As a former half-otaku, Rachel was well aware of the power of a True Ancestor. While vampires had their weaknesses, Rachel tried to ignore them as much as possible.

"Alright, if you have any insurmountable difficulties, let me know. After all, you are my student."

Rachel readily agreed. She would deal with it when the time came.

"By the way, how is Lia?" Stia hesitated, glancing around to see that many students were secretly watching. She leaned in close to Rachel's ear and whispered.

"It's... okay!" Rachel found it hard to say. She was helpless about her sister's condition. She was willing to work hard to earn the medical fees, but her sister, the one who needed the treatment, seemed reluctant, not because she disliked her sister, but...

"Is that so?" Stia didn't press further, sighing inwardly. Such a good age, but an accident had changed everything. She talked about some school-related matters, but seeing that Rachel was distracted and couldn't focus, she ended the conversation.

It was the first day of the new semester, mainly for old students to get reacquainted and new students to adapt, so they only had two classes before school ended. Rachel ran to the student council room, briefed the members on the opening ceremony and departmental arrangements, wrote down the necessary documents, and left them on the desk. The vice president would handle the rest. After taking care of these essential tasks, Rachel looked outside and saw that it was getting dark. Without lingering, she left the school and disappeared into the crowd.
