“What are you saying? I didn’t do anything.”

Li Qianfei was hurt. She could understand Godfather’s anger if he encountered a problem, but she refused to suffer this injustice. Over the years, Godfather helped and solved many problems for her, but Li Qianfei always made sure to repay him with good fortune. Their business success could only be credited to her. Otherwise, they wouldn’t have made it this far. The pair helped each other. She didn’t owe him anything.

Gu Qian’s voice was cold and his gaze as wicked as a viper. “It’s your fault that the Gu family is out of luck. I got in a car crash and had to amputate my leg. The company is facing problems. Deals we once had in the bag are now gone.”

The accident happened on the way to the airport. By the time he woke up, he was at the hospital and had no choice but to amputate his leg. When Gu Qian’s younger brother inspected the accounts, he discovered a large sum of money was missing. But it’d be fine for now. The Gu family was tending to their own wounds, so they wouldn’t have time to hunt down Li Qianfei.

Li Qianfei, who was sad because of the severed relationship, adjusted her mood.

After a day of running about, she was ready to go home and rest.

During the car ride, she thought of an idea and said, “Go to Elder Sister’s villa. I haven’t seen her for a while, so I miss her.”

The car quickly took a detour and headed to Li Xiao’s residence.
