Shiraishi Ryo, a salaryman who has squandered his savings on social games, is summoned as a hero and obtains the gift (skill) "Gacha". However, the king, unable to assess the value of this skill, imprisons Ryo. Upon learning that he is to be used as a sacrifice for the next summoning, Ryo escapes the castle using skills obtained from the gacha and decides to leave the country. Taking some of the castle's treasure as compensation, he inadvertently distorts the world. Unaware of this, Ryo senses the corruption of this world and judges it as "not worth saving." He decides to live as he pleases.
