“Knowledge is power”. Albert Granier, a man who goes against conventional wisdom, is appointed as the vice commander of the seventh knight order, one of the twelve prestigious knight orders in the kingdom, contrary to his wish to work inland. What he finds there is a knight order led by a commander with individual skills but no commanding ability, along with a handful of soldiers with low morale.
Without political influence or backing, and with no allies inside or outside, Albert faces a seemingly hopeless situation. However, he cannot afford to give up. Pension, power, and the woman he desires. Albert fights desperately for the life he dreams of in his twilight years.
